Chocolate Mousse Blocks

This recipe is a delicious healthy twist on chocolate mousse.


Preparation time: 20 minutes


Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup butternut (you can use sweet potato or pumpkin)

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/3 honey or maple syrup

2 Tbsp gelatine

Method:

1. Steam butternut until soft.

2. Peel them as soon as they are cooked (they have to still be warm when mixed with the other ingredients).

3. Mix the butternut, cocoa powder and honey in a mixer or blender.

4. Add gelatine and mix until blended.

5. Pour mixture into a glass bowl and refrigerate for an hour or until firm.

6. Cut your mousse into blocks.

7. Enjoy!


You can store them up to five days in an airtight container in the fridge.
